For example, let’s say it’s December 2024 and I want to order a 2024 with very specific packages and deletes. I do NOT want a 2025 because they don’t offer Supercab anymore.

When is/was the last day to place such an order (and have it actually built & delivered)? Is it exactly midnight on the 31st of December, or how does this work?

Edit: And going forward to December of 2025, regarding 2025 / 2026 model year Fords ... does it work the same?

Oh you're right ... it looks like 2025 offers supercab + longbed. So maybe that was a bad example.

My point is more about the cutoff date for placing orders for "year x". So let's say I wanted to order a 2025 XLT supercab + longbed ... when is the last day I can do this? December 31, 2025? April 2025? Some random day in 2025? It depends?

That is my question despite coming at it from perhaps a bad angle: For any given year, when is Ford's cutoff date for ordering a current-year truck?

 

I’d be willing to bet that there is not a consistent date from year to year on this. I’ll bet there are a lot of factors that go into this. Your best bet is to call the dealer and get the correct scoop on this.
