Hey all. Can anybody tell if this an original 352 from the pics? Obvious changes have been made (covers, air cleaner, carb, ignition). Trying to confirm if the engine is original to the truck. Appreciate the help...
Gold would be correct for '65. '66 engines were blue so depending on what year your truck is...
No way to tell for sure if engine original. The vin would only confirm that a 352 was original. Beyond that, block, intake, heads etc would confirm year of engine based on casting #s. May be possible to tell from certain parts if from a car or truck tho. Where the oil drain plug is located is one thing that comes to mind.
