Electric choke help

I have a 1965 f250 with 300 inline 6 it is manual steering, fuel pump trans and brakes. I am wanting to add a electric choke carb to it and looking for good options for a single barrel carb and where I can wire it to for best locations. I know alternator and battery are terrible choices and would like to keep it wired in the engine bay thanks

Can't help you with your question. But in my opinion I would stay with the manual choke.

Would like to keep it but it's the original carburetor and can't find a quality single barrel manual choke

Have you looked at a Tomco carb? It's been a long time, but there are a couple numbers and letters after Tomco. Something like Tomco-I 92 ?
