A better replacement hub?
I just happen to have the DR side front of my 99 4x4 in the air and saw the hub was stuck in the lock position. Probably been that way for hundreds of miles if not more. Took it apart and really dont see why it works not correctly. That being said It time S can this auto BS and replace the locking hubs. Any recommendations on brand?? I know there is always Warn, but IMHO their ship sailed long age and its just over priced so,so goods anymore.

Well I myself Like Warn and have never had a problem with them in over 40yrs. Now that being said. Yukon hubs are suppose to be real good but very expensive and Dana - Spicer hubs are also Ok but I don't like them because of all the plastic inside. but there you go, two choices other than Warn. Good luck in your decision.

I think Im to blame for the sticking internals. I took them both apart and serviced them..pretty stout internals Id have to admiit. Just dont use a mountain of heavy moly grease when servicing them.
