lxman1, I have been trying to convince my wife of the 24/48 couple thing. She won't believe it. I'll be sure to show her this.
As far as I am concerned, put whatever you want on your vehicle. It is yours and we are fortunate enough to live in these United States. I think I have more Marine Corps stickers on my trucks than anything else, but I do display the #6 on both also!!!
If I did place a sticker on the truck, I'd have to go with anybody but that Jeff guy. Can't believe he has fans or that in some people's minds he's the next big thing. Just cause you win titles doesn't mean you're a "winner" in my book.
My favorite professionsal driver was a neighbor of mine as a kid... Rick Carrelli. Then I'd rank anybody who's raced for Coors up pretty high (except Robbie Gordon, just can't help but dislike that guy).
What's the difference anyway? Every race car has to be exactly the same according to rules. There's nothing "stock" about em. The ford or chevy emblems are just formalities.
I put the #2 in my truck back when Rusty drove for Ford. It almost broke me when he switched to Dodge but the plate is still there and he is still my favorite, even with no wins for the last couple of years.
Just because #24 is a winner, people hate him. Funny someone so successful is booed because he came in and didn't have to spend 15 years driving crap before a good owner picked him up.
Any sticker on your vehicle turns the vehicle into a ghetto ride. Do me a favor, just pull off all the crappy stickers, dealer stickers, and confederate flags off your trucks, wash them, wax them, and take the $%^$ CB radios out of them!
If truck owners would get some class, life would be much better. It's a shame we have so many people red-necking it around here.
Oh yea.....Go Jeff! (how many of you have painted your truck with Dupont paint, Ford, for instance?)haha.
I guess you can have a favorite football or baseball team and there's no rule about having to live there.
If you want to support a particular driver--- do it. It doesn't matter if he's in a chevy or ...

... and lumping everybody that has a sticker on their truck as a redneck... that's stereotyping. Seems like I could lump you in the small minded simple people stereotype as well... but then I would be calling myself one too. It's a free country, thank you for your opinion. If people want to put stickers all over their rig then let 'em.
My truck doesn't have a sticker on it. I just don't like Jeff Gordon regardless of what make he drives or how many wins he has. Don't know him personally, he just has a weird sense about him. I also mentioned I dislike the "other" Gordon as well. He acts like's a two year old. There are a few others I dislike as well. This discussion just happened to have started with Jeff.
