I have a 2014 F250 6.7L. It was built in 2013 and has the 2013 data in the onboard navigation system. I've never updated it. I rarely use it because it doesn't do Lat/Long. Can anyone tell me what upgrades are available? Is it worth it?
Well you have about 4 basic choices...
Update the maps sd card. Available from Ford or online. It gives you newer maps but is still lacking.
Buy the sync 3 upgraded head unit online. This replaces current display.
Buy an aftermarket android head unit
Use your phone or a tablet with google maps
Thanks for the feedback. I didn't know you could buy an upgraded unit. After looking at the prices, my Google Maps is looking just fine. It's good enough for me.

We use Google maps or an android app called Copilot when hauling our 5th. I use the nav map up on the screen but zoomed out so we can see upcoming turns intersections but Google Maps and Copilot get it done better.
The nav SD card updates are very slow to show new roads. Copilot is a 1 time purchase and quarterly map updates. Google is real time.
Both provide traffic now. If Google would just add height and weight settings I would use it only
