Like, Like, Like

Why does everybody use this word so much? It seems every other word out of someone's mouth is "like". This wasen't taught in school when I was there.

I had an assignment in school once where we had to make an unprepared speech, and not use "filler" words sach as : uh, umm, like, etc
its really hard to speak, and only say pertinent words

Another west coast catch scootin over the rail to the E.C. Lol anyways. Where I live, near Sacramento the word "like" wasw quite a fad back when I was in middle schooll 4 years, but since people have moved onto other equaly annoying slang words and phrases. Dont worry eventually it will subside.

God help the "west coast dude" that should ever be so unfortunate to call me that. There won't be much of him left standing, like, you know what I mean? If there's a more ANNOYING word than "dude," I have yet to hear it.

SHEEEEEEEEESH!!!

there is a huge line between the word "dude", and "like"
being born in '84 with an older sis and an even older brother, we almost made "dude" into another language. I say it with pride. as for "like", its anoying, it moved into AZ from all the valley girls in the '80s and'90s that used to live in Cali, then all the girls in good ol' AZ wanted to be "cool" and said "like" in between every other word. I wanted to scrape out my eyeball just to have something to throw at these girls.

I'm just starting to notice that trend here in Nebraska. If it was popular 5 years ago on one of the coasts it's just starting here.

I was reading somewhere that the big thing now is shirts with your area code on them. around here that would be pretty boring. "402, 402, 402, 402, 402, 402, 402, 402, 402, 402, 402, 402, 402, 402, 402 oh wait a sec. I think I saw a ...... no 402, 402, 402 there it is a 308!

Mabee it's too long, boring and stupid, but hey, I'm not forcing you to read it.
