Good day y'all! I'm a refrigeration tech by trade but I love working on trucks and motorcycles. I just received a 1976 F100 project truck as a gift from my wife. It has a 400ci from a 1978 LTD and a C6 from 1978 F150. (This is the info I received but haven't verified yet.) I was told that the tranny is in need of work, so I'm hoping to swap it out for a manual 5 speed. Plus, I'm hoping to add a little performance under the hood. I look forward to getting input and suggestions from those with more knowledge than me on the old dentside and maybe through the process, I can help some from the experiences I encounter.
