6 cylinder !D

How do you ID the Cubic inch on a ford cylinder ? I don't think mine is the original motor. Looking at the engine mounts they been modified to fit the six that in there now.

That's a 240 or 300.

You should be able to measure the stroke through a plug hole. 3.98" for the 300, 3.18" for the 240.

Bore is 4" for both.

The earlier sixes had the intake and exhaust on the driver side.

You can see the aftermarket mounting bracket that had to be installed to fit it in there.
