F250 blues..

Good morning Fellas, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
I forget if I’ve introduced myself here on the 57-60 Forum; I spent years over on the 92-97 F Series Forums.
I bought my 57 about 5 years ago, sold it, then bought it back. At this point it’ll be a perminent fixture in the stable I guess.
I’ve taken a look both here and on Facebook reading a bunch about lowering the rear ride height, everything from mild notching, to C notching, mono leafs, flipped shackles lowering shackles, etc etc. for this coming summer I’m going to remove every other leaf in the rear and see where that gets me. Now I know the f250 rear suspension/axle (D60 as opposed to 9”) is measureably litterally different then the smaller rear end in the F100s. For those of you who’ve dropped your “F250” what was your experience? How much drop did you get removing leafs, and or what were your other experiences with the heavier D60 equipt trucks as far as dropping them goes. At this point I want to forgo a notch, maybe in the cards for the 26 season. I’ve wondered if itd be worth it to swap to 1/2T running gear, I’m thinking I can go lower with the 9” pumpkin under there as opposed to the D60 chunk. Pleany of F100 stuff around me to grab a rear end snd front hubs. 🤷‍♂️
Somewhere along the line I bought a set of spring mounts and shackles, the mounts look like they’d work but these shackles…
