rebuilding it to put in new cam and such and i doubt this truck was well cared for before i got it and was suprised to see the marks when i pulled it all apart so i figured that some one else had pulled it apart pefore and was just getting yalls op[inions on it
I know this is apples and oranges, but I rebuilt an old honda with almost 190000 miles on it still had the original cross hatch. I don't think it's out of the question to still be able to see the cross hatch at 150000 miles.
I tore down my 89 crown vic 5.0 with around 250000kms, It still had a good cross hatch! the only reason I tore it down was cause the trans literally exploded (case split just about completly in half) so I pulled the engine and junked the rusty car (should have kept the 8.8 as well).
