Emissions parts needed
I need a smog pump and check valve for a 88 f150 302
I know a lot of people just throw them away but I want to put it back on and mine I seized. What years will interchange?

Rock auto has the check valves. The check valve at the center of the cross over pipe is threaded, the one between the catalytic converter and the diverter valve, U bolts and hose clamps in. I wouldn't try unthreading the one on the crossover pipe. It's easier to add the clamp in style, just before the diverter valve.

87-96 are the same for 5.0 E and F series
E5TZ-9A486-D is the thermactor air pump
Ebay has them but are pricy, shop around
Same for the one way valve (shop around)
Easier to take the crossover pipe off the rear of the heads, and then change the valve, once you clamp the pipe in a vise
Otherwise, you'll possibly twist the pipe and break it

i got what was left of the check valve off i ordered one from rock auto they said would fit. it didn't it was too small. need one with i think 3/4 inch theads. took my old smog pump apart it is sezed up tight . the front bearing is bad. don't have a press to take it apart all the way.

I have all the injection parts off of my ‘87 Bronco minus the pump but shipping across the country would be expensive. I don’t know what size threads are on the check valves. It was removed as an assembly a long time ago.

Use some heat on the bearing? Buy a press?
You could buy 3 presses for the price of a reman pump on Ebay
They can't be too hard to overhaul, there is not much inside
The used ones, if they sit around topo long will start to seize up
Most at the junkyards no longer turn if they have sat there for a year or two

I just pulled all that junk off my 460 and have it sitting in a pile in my shop. I don’t know if it will work for you but you can have it.
