Parameter Reset after Engine Replacement
We have a 2016 Ford F250 Superduty XLT 6.2L Flex Fuel Engine. When we bought it in June it had 140k miles on it, it died 6 days later after purchase. Because we are in the state of TN, there isn't a lemon law and we couldn't return it. So, we had it in several shops and the diagnosis was engine misfire and that we were told that we would need to replace the engine, which we did.
The engine was replaced with a 2019 Ford F250 engine with 55k miles on it. Now that we have it back after engine replacement, we are still getting a misfire error code for the 7th cylinder. We replaced the catalytic converters and upstream and downstream Oxygen sensors. Still throwing the code.
I called the guy who replaced the engine for us, and he said he wasn't able to rest the keys and perform a parameter reset of the new engine. So he said that we need the following: Parameter Reset and Calibration update per misfire TSB - as built data resinstalled and a 2 key operation reset. We will need a misfire relearn to be performed during the reprogramming.
I am having a hard time finding someone who can do this for a reasonable price. Everyone wants $800-$1000. I am not looking to invest much more money in this truck because it has been such a problem child we want to sell it after we can get the check engine light cleared out.
Can anyone help me out with recommendations. Is there any way I can do this myself if I can order the right instrument?

In long block configuration, cylinder heads, camshafts, and valve covers are the only actual different parts between 2011-2016 and 2017-2022 generation 6.2L. The outside sensors are the same and will plug in without issue leading one to believe its a match, when its really not.
