Heated Mirrors
I have a 2008 F-250 SD and noticed that my side mirrors have the little icon on the mirror to show that they are heated.
No way in the truck show how to turn them on. And I have noticed that they don't work.
Can I run power to them and put it on a toggle switch.

If you have a rear defroster, then the mirrors only work when the rear defroster is active. If you don't have a rear defroster, someone was working on adding the heated mirrors.
You could probably put them on a toggle switch but make sure you tie into something that kills them when the motor isn't running, as they draw a decent amount of current (not sure how much) and could quickly drain your battery.
