telescoping mirrors?

hi everyone... i am looking at som etelescoping mirrors for my 99f250sd. right now i have manuals, but im gonna put power mirrors on. now, when they say "power, telescoping, heated mirrors".... does that mean they they telescop on thier own also? or is it just the mirrors movement that is power, and the telescoping is manual. also, how do the defrosters in the mirror turn on? is there a seperate switch? anyone have a picture of such? thanks !!!

Matt, the telescoping is done manually, you must adjust the in and out by pushing and pulling, the positions are detented to hold them in place.

thanks toddyw.... i think im going to get a set, i really like the look on the trucks.... especially when they are leveled, or lifted !
