Im new to the forum and am wondering what engine is in this truck. I imagine one of you could identify this motor. The truck is about 200 miles from me so I only have some motor pics. It is currently in a 74 f100 4x4. Is this a 360?

Pull a spark plug and pull the oil dipstick and wipe it clean.
Put the dipstick down in cylinder and bar engine over until it stops going down. Mark with sharpie.
Repeat and bar until dipstick stops coming up. Mark again and measure between marks.
360=3.5" stroke
390=3.79" stroke.
Maybe youll get lucky and find you have a 390.
Yes it could be another one of the FE but chances are slim.
