Can anyone help. I’ve had the trial and bought the license. Here are two photos of all computers I can see. I have read threads galore as I may not have seen them all I read what I can find. Why can’t I find the IPC
i have updated Forscan. Deleted my truck. Reuploaded. I have OBDLink EX (elm327)
I wanna find the ipc to turn off a few settings like door chimes etc.
You have a very large CAN error % (40.7%) rate, that’s means that at least 41% of the CAN messages aren’t coming through, you need to get that down to ideally zero before trying to do anything on your truck.
Your adapter settings should look something like this
You may also have to update your adapter to get it to function properly, forscan should do this for you and hopefully you don’t have a knock off adapter.
This first is the adapter I’m using. And the 3rd photo is the adapter I got recommended from someone off Facebook. If y’all have another recommendation I’ll order it to and what ever doesn’t work return it.
im using a wired connection. I’m not the best at updating stuff I don’t understand this computer I got enough. I don’t use it. I believe last night I updated my Forscan. I went to website and downloaded the newest version.
if needed treat me as if I’m dumb and I’ll give the best info back I got. And if needed I can get help to update any software needed.
You’re missing a ton of modules, from the looks of it forscan isn’t able to use the MS bus on your adapter.
Make sure you setup your connection page like this
There is also a newer version of firmware for your adapter, yours is 2.3.02 and 2.3.04 is the latest version.
Try those 2 things first and let us know what happens, I have both the adapters you pictured above and they work fine so yours must be a setting or firmware problem.
