I used the RC level kit $160 on my 2022 f250 and installed it myself. the trackbar bracket is heavy and appears heavy duty. It raised it about 1.5" but I have the 7.3 Godzilla.

From the way I understand it the new trackbar bracket eliminates the need for a adjustable trackbar as my axle is still centered under the truck.

I will be replacing my front shocks with the Bilstien 5100 for a 2" lift soon. I am happy with the RC kit and it did not need an alignment as I had it checked after install.

Wow, RC kit is welded plate, not cast. What did you do for bump stop/ sway bar/ brake line lowering/ spacers? Not needed? Still drives perfect and no death wobble?

I thought adjustable track bar was needed even with bracket. I read track bar bracket is needed to maintain correct geometry. I do feel better using factory parts wherever possible. Just want to take out the 2wd look of my '22. If I add bigger wheels and tires later I will probably use OUO or comparable higher quality components. Thx

Not needed. I will add Bilstein shocks for 2" lift soon though but works fine as is.

I don’t understand why spend $80k+ on a truck then scrimp on suspension components. It will probably be cheaper in the end to hold off and buy better components when dealing with suspension. You get what you pay for.

True, there is multiple ways to do it. I prefer to put some better parts in but really most guys can run a 2 or 2.5 inch lower spacer lift and some cheap drop bracket, decent shocks, and add 2.3 & 2.6 caster and be fine.

I leveled my truck using tremor front springs. Raised the front an inch and a half or so.

Beacause there are more than 1 way to skin a cat. I just want to level the truck with minimal modifications. Everyone seems to have a different opinion. Should I pay $3800 for the OUO kit with shocks for 2.5" lift or roughly $500 for 2" lift. My goal is not to buy a 80k truck and modify the **** out of it.

If I was lifting 4 to 6 inches I agree with you, buy the best kit out there. But is the best kit the most expensive? Paying the most doesnt mean you necessarily are getting the best. Pays to do your homework and shop around which is exactly what I'm doing.

"Nearly identical" sounds like one company is copying the other. Assuming they are of equal quality, my preference is to give my money to the American company that put in the work to designing it. I may not be able to make sure everything I buy is "made in America" but I do try to reward innovation and not send my all of my money overseas.

It is a shame that trucks cost so much nowadays. I call it greedflation. Everybody see's everyone raising prices and wants a piece of the pie, even storage places and you know the light doesn't come on till you open the door and you can bet they aren't paying their employees more.

A buddy at work just bought a 2024 F250 6.7 King Ranch 4wd loaded with options he wanted. I'm pretty sure it was close to 105k and I doubt he will ever even change the tire size.

He bought it for bragging rights, status symbol and the only thing he will ever pull with it is his equivalent of a King Ranch boat. I have worked with him many years and that's just his thing which is fine as having the best is important to him. If I wanted to play bragging rights with him I would tell him the front diff in my 2022 XL is heavier duty stock than the front diff in his 2024 King Ranch lol but he doesn't need to know..

Everybody has different idea's about what they need to accomplish the result as far as adrermaeket parts. I went with the RC kit as I felt it was good quality and as it was just for looks I didn't have any concerns about using it. I won't be offroading as I have a jeep for that. And I had the alignment checked after I installed it and they said it was all within spec so all the extra stuff was not needed in my case. I'm running 285/75-17's on stock wheels which are a hair wider and basically the same height as the tires that come stock on my buddies King Ranch with no level kit.

I bought my truck for my towing needs and got a XL trim so I had the items I wanted, 7.3, electronic locking rear diff, 3.55, gooseneck hitch, backup camera and cruise control and the 10sp auto. The most I ever plan to tow is 2 jeeps on a gooseneck. Usually just one on a regular trailer.

I have been adding the mods to my truck to make it my own and have been happy with the result.
