I’ve been interested in getting a leveling kit for my 2020 250 truck and wanted opinions and recommendations on kits other people have used. I searched and scrolled through some other threads and it looks like quite a few people are using the ready lift coils with the bilstein 5100 shocks. I don’t need anything fancy but want the smoothest ride for the truck. What are y’all’s thoughts on this kit? Any additional parts yall recommend buying with a leveling kit?
I can say that I have enjoyed the 5100’s on my 22. Can’t speak for the lift. Mines still stock height, granted I do have the snow plow springs which are the stiffest/biggest 5990 front springs. These springs along make my truck not far off from level as it sits. I wouldn’t want to go higher though because then when we hook our camper up the nose wants to sit high. That’s the problem with leveled trucks…
Also, you don’t need a lift/level to use the 5100’s.

Yeah I haven’t had to pull anything yet but eventually I will. I pull a 22’ trailer with my buggy on it occasionally and would be the most I pull for now. I want to get a camper in the future and will have to get bags or something of that nature for the rear eventually. Thanks for your input!
@Campos02 you'll need the caster shims to keep the steering tight. Otherwise it will feel really light and floaty - you won't like it at all. The shims keep the factory characteristics. Otherwise, this is a good solid lift - you'll be happy with it. If you haven't upgraded the steering stabilizer, you'll probably want to do that too. Fox has a good one but there are others; anything is an upgrade from FOMOCO.

caster shims like the ones below? Yeah I was looking at steering stabilizers already to go along with the leveling kit and read it’s a night and day difference. I guess any high quality brand steering stabilizer like fox or bilstein would be nice?
