I have a 1980 F250 with the chamois glow/dark chamois paint, with the chamois interior, and recently did a headliner “conversion” and am looking for spray paint that will closely match the original dash color. Any help is much appreciated, thanks. (Pic is example of my color, not my rig)
I have used SEM on the metal steering column of another project and it has been good for years but I dont use the car just been sitting in the garage last 15+ years.
I have also used SEM on the plastic / vinyl parts inside my pickup and that I have used the last 5+ years and still looks good.
I would say look at SEM paint and the prep. You can get it thru a local auto paint supplier.
You can also take any panel part to oreily auto parts and they can scan it and match it then put it into a spray can. They did this for me with my blue interior.
