Trans issue

I have an 03 7.3 4x4 diesel with a 4r100 transmission and it seems that it is slipping at the torque converter but only at times at other times it is allowing it to drive normally I believe this is a pump issue or possibly the filter any info would be greatly appreciated

What codes are stored in the PCM? If it is really slipping it will set a code.
