Crank/No Start
I am chasing a crank/no start issue on the 302 I have in my ‘59 F100. Does anyone know how many volts I should have at the coil? I am showing just 7 at the coil, but the battery shows it’s holding over 12.

You didnt mention if it was points or electronic ignition. a 302 wasnt offered in '59 so you have a conversion of some sort. Did the conversion also convert the coil to a 12 volt one? Its a lot harder to answer your specific situation not knowing what was done to your truck.

When did this start? Was it running with this set up and then next day no start?
Or did this start as you installed the Pertronix IGN?
If you put a little gas or spray starting fluid in the carb what happens?
