C6 transmission knocking while cold
Hey everyone, I’ve got a 92 ford f250 5.8 paired with a c6, I’ve got a noise going on when the truck is cold and running and quiet except for a minor exhaust leak, but as soon as I put it in reverse or drive and begin to press the peddle a very noticeable ticking/knocking starts until I let off or until the truck is warm. But if I put the truck in park or neutral it’s goes away even when giving it gas. Does anyone know what this is? I’m guessing something with the transmission but I know nothing about transmissions and need some help identifying this. Any help would be awesome.
