How high is it? Does it stay fairly steady or does it jump around constantly? Small changes of around 1% is normal, but constantly bouncing 2-3 or 4% means the PCM is fighting it for some reason. If your wanting some research for more testing Google the Cody Test, and Deadheading the hpop.

While under load, or simply idling in the driveway? These trucks have fuel volume issues in a bad way and fuel pressure will drop off to less than 20 psi when under heavy load like towing or full throttle on the on ramp.
