With it having “Ford Truck” stamped in the rear beam it indicates it’s off an older truck. Im not sure when the started to stamp just Ford into them but it was before ‘48. I like the additional “Truck” stamped into it.

that's a new one to me. I don't recall ever seeing a flat bed saying "ford truck"
The Model TTs had them, not sure if it carried into AA era.
There's an old Ford flatbed inside a huge consignment antique shop in my town with a FORD TRUCK script bed on it. I think it is an early 30's truck. It looks something like this.
Ford probably stopped stamping the "Truck" into the bed because they changed the design slightly and found they could save 5¢ per bed if they used one die to make just "Ford"
I like the "Ford Truck", I also like the Ford script a lot more than the block letters they used on later beds. That was probably done to make them look more modern.

Here is a 3 speed and optional Dual High from an AA. Little rocker pedal shifted it into direct or low. Both gearboxes spin free and shift. I believe the Warner T9 4 speed made its debut for the 30-31 AAs. Have one of those with bell and engine, but transmission has a fatal crack from having water in it and freezing. Guess it is called a “smile” crack. It is smiling, but made me frown. Only paid $5 for whole works, however. Liberated it from a 28-29 AA before it bowed to the blue flame. If I ever get around to it, going to belt it to an electric motor then to my giant 2 speed blacksmith drill- Champion 203. 425 lbs of cast iron, complete with flat belt drive pulleys.
I saw a FORD script flat bed a few weeks ago in a friend’s salvage lot. The bed was still mounted on the truck chassis. I was surprised to see wood was used to space the bed off the chassis.
