Rattles are a bear to track down. For the longest time I thought I had something loose in driver door, emptied everything out of the pockets, even took the door panel off to check speaker mounts, everything else; no joy.
Turns out it was a pencil air gauge bouncing around in the pocket of the rear door all that time. SMH
Way diy fix. Search YouTube for how to remove door. It’s 1 screw upper reflector on side, a couple underneath and i think 2 under a cover behind latch. Door panel pops off. Unplug everything and take it to carpet or bench. Remove all electronics bits for locks etc and line everything with felt tape. Line everything you can that’s plastic in plastic and secure any loose wires and cables. Put it all back together and repeat on all doors.
I’ve done it and all my doors are silent. Takes a little time to figure it the first one. After that you’ll breeze thru the rest.
fyi, everything in the cab is the same. Most things just pop off and some have screws but most don’t. You can felt tape everything. I’ve had most of my dash apart to give the same treatment. My cabin is pretty noise free now. It was an orchestra of noise before i got to work.
