So here is your thread as requested, just please follow the "guidelines". And remember buyers and sellers, to be honest, fair and make sure you pay for the dang parts if shipped up front. And or ship the dang parts, if you get paid up front.
Yes it is FTE, but it is subject to outside folks getting on here. So make you deals as careful as you would on FB Market place or Craigslist. And please NO scamming, and NO BS and if you do get scammed by a knuckle head, you can always mention it here in the Marketplace Trading feed back.
Have numerous 67 parts for sale. Will ship on buyers dime. All parts are located in SE South Dakota. Have a 67 Flareside rear bumper and bumper brackets, have a set of 67 door panels. Door hinges, gauge clusters, etc. will update with a better list and some pictures shortly.
And make sure to get on your FTE Regional/State chapter forum, and become a member of your state chapter, to help get the parts word out to in state folks. Some of those parts are awful big or to big ship USPS. Even Fed X and UPS have size limits or it can get $$. Grey Hound Bus has a Package Express option.
Do not make me go buy a bunch of 67-72 Ford trucks at my local JY and start to sell parts here also. Do not think I won't do it. Lol Come on folks support this thread. List some parts, sell some parts. Make some Xmas $. Thanks you 63flareside.
Looking for three things for my '68 F250:
* A good (NO RUST!) RH/passenger side door. I actually only need the inner panel, as some idiot cut a speaker hole into it at some time in the past, but I'll take the whole door, as I doubt I'll ever find has just the panel.
* A good OEM (non-repo) front grille, with no dents, warps, or tears on the mounting tabs. Impossible to find, say you? Prove me wrong!
* Complete set of deep version of these hubcaps (not my truck, not my picture). I have a really nice set of shallow ones to trade, if interested!
I also have some parts to sell, but everything is put away for the winter (and the shop is unheated), so I won't have an accurate inventory until spring.
Just remembered: I have a really nice (clean & rust free) 8' bed, with tailgate, that I'll be selling in the spring. I bought it in California, and I have pics, and "proof".
I can get pictures as needed. I don't have any good ones hand:
1972 "Custom" badges from the fender -- $40
White or red Glove box door -- $20 each
Aftermarket Radio with external amp -- $80
Heater box from 72 -- $75
aftermarket AC bracket -- $40
2 sets of heads -- $50 a set -- need rebuilt
non adjustable rocker shafts -- $50
Valve Covers -- $40
White Sun Visors -- $100
Steering wheel with several small cracks. pretty good shape -- $50
Winshield wiper arms -- $40
FE alternator bracket -- $20
White Ashtray and bracket (complete) -- $100
Cracked dashpad $20
Set of Engine tech cam bearings and std. molly rings for std bore. $50 Left over from rebuild/refreshening.
Power Steering pump bracket -- $50
Pickup in eastern/central Nebraska or shipping from 68364. I just threw prices out there. Not sure what the stuff is really worth, most is left over from parts I pulled from a 72 f250 camper with the intention of selling to make back the purchase cost.. I really don't want to sell the rocker shafts and the ashtray but I could be persuaded.
Ok I am going to hit up my local JY, they probably have close to FIFTY 67-72 trucks setting in there. I think I need to go buy 5 or 10 of them and get in the Bump side parts business also. I know they had a almost EIGHTY 73-79's at one time. And boy did I ever pull and sell the parts off them. They had F100/F150/F250 2wd, 4wd and even a couple of Crew Cabs. They had so many, I had to keep a picture inventory. A picture is worth a lengthy description. Eye spy a bump or 2.
Dang those crew cabs even look to be builders. My wife's mandate is the next truck is a 4x4 dent, either supercab or crew cab. We'll make it the camper puller so needs to be a 250 or larger.
More parts. Full part out of a 72 f250. Grant clip and box do not go. Everything else is on the table I think. Disk brake truck. Good visors and usable Ranger door panels. Amp/oil pressure gauges. Cab is buildable and has title. Cab mounts are shot. Frame will be cut up for pickup box trailer unless a good offer is made with the cab for the title.
Rich, its just not fair that you have access to all this great stuff! I really think you should put out there that you will pull parts and sell them! I am in the process of getting my new place set up so I will not have any parts to post for a bit, but be prepared. I will also be looking for some stuff as soon as it warms back up guys. So glad this has been posted in our group!
I'm selling my Ford Classic 1971 F-100 Ranger XLT pickup in great condition. Drives well. Dent in grill from hitting deer; aesthetic damage only, easily replaceable part. New brake lines, new tires. Ladder rack. The truck comes from down south, so it hasn’t had to endure the salty roads from northern winters; minimal surface rust.
