Hey thanks for the insult and then asking if I went through the training program. Classy. I already implied that I did but to answer your question: 1993-95.

You said you went through the program
I asked when
Wondering why you missed out seeing as you dogged me about it
The Asset student I had to train to do front end alignments was in 1986
He showed up with the home made star tester,
They made them at the community college

Okay everyone, I think I may have it fixed. I took the front fuel pump out and put it back in just to look at it and it seemed fine. I found that the fuel cut off switch under the dash had melted wires. I bypassed it and now it seems to be running okay. It’s been idling for about 20 minutes or so and I did a couple laps around the driveway. So far so good. Next project is to figure out why the oil pressure gauge is bottomed out. Hopefully It’s just the little filter behind it?

So now that you know that you are going to fix the inertia switch wiring? If you leave it like that the pumps will not shut off in an accident.

Ground out the wire at the sending unit. Turn the key to RUN. Did the needle peg to the high side of the gauge?

I honestly didn’t plan on replacing the inertia switch just because I rarely leaving my property with it. And I’ll mess with the oil gauge tomorrow and see what I can figure out
