Cap the manifold fitting and tee it into your map sensor line.

the issue with FB stuff, is you get a short worded statement, with no background to relate it to.
Plus, no way to know the qualifications of the one who spouted off.
Exhaust back pressure should be close to 1:1 of boost pressure. Some people tee it into map line so it reads same a boost. There is no gains at all or any better response. Just no more tube to clog up with soot. I would leave it alone for sure.
