EBPV sensor question

I saw this comment on Facebook PSD Technical Page,
I want to know exactly what they are saying,
and IF it will do what is claimed?

EBPV sensor

Cap the manifold fitting and tee it into your map sensor line.

You'll have better throttle response and get better mileage and never have to worry about cleaning it again

======

the issue with FB stuff, is you get a short worded statement, with no background to relate it to.
Plus, no way to know the qualifications of the one who spouted off.

I understand that, having been the senior Admin for GoldwingFacts.com since 2006

now, my CTS-3 shows the ExBP going up from time to time,
if is doing that, is there a need to clean the sensor and tube?

the engine is performing extremely well, from the butt dyno, I enjoy it like it is.

some of that, of course, is the Hydra tuner, but it ran pretty good before the Hydra was installed, just not as responsive.

Exhaust back pressure should be close to 1:1 of boost pressure. Some people tee it into map line so it reads same a boost. There is no gains at all or any better response. Just no more tube to clog up with soot. I would leave it alone for sure.
