High idle
Guys Im a lil confused my 96 OBD2 5.0 out of nowhere after replacing the throttle body gasket everything is hooked up right a double and triple checked my idle is stuck at 1200 won't go down me testing my tps the black wire is at 45-50 ohms it's supposed to be around 1ohm now my orange reference wire is at 5v witch is correct and my signal wire the green is showing about 1-2 which is right but my tps on my scanner shows 16.1% and load reading is at 31% something aint right and my check engine never comes on not even key on engine off I've been driving it for a while running great out of nowhere I change the throttle body gasket and now all hell is just not right and the throttle body gasket wasn't bad I just changed it because I had a new one and was bored on a Saturday I do have a p0118 for the temperature sensor circuit to out of whack but that's been there and my temperature is working correctly on the gauge but that's besides the point any help please got to be back at work on Monday
