mystery plug under dash

does anyone know what this plug (the larger one) is under the dash near the e-brake? I'm assuming it's for the remote start, but I can't find it (or remote start in general) referenced in any wiring diagram. and to no one's particular shock google continues to be beyond worthless so I wasn't able to find anything there.

I can look under mine this weekend to see if I see something like it.
I don't have auto-start & I am not really an electrical expert but I can check.
Off the top of my head IDK what it is.

I struck out. (sorry)
I was upside down on my floor board & if my truck has this plug, it is way up under the dash as I couldn't find it on mine.
The fact that mine doesn't have auto-start, etc.... could be why.

I thought that was the OBD port for a moment, but it’s more squared off.

There was no factory remote start back then that I recall, I doubt Ford would have had that laying around. Not that it isn’t, but not from Ford.

Someone left you an aftermarket gift.
