Please Help
O.K. HERE'S THE SITUATION, I HAVE RECENTLY BEEN GIVEN A 1964 FORD CUSTOM PICK-UP TRUCK. MY WIFE'S GRANDFATHER HAS GIVEN ME THIS TRUCK AS A GIFT. I HAVE NEVER BEEN A "GREASE-MONKEY" TYPE OF GUY, ALTHOUGH I AM HOPING TO USE THIS AS A FIRST PROJECT. I REALLY LIKE THE TRUCK AND HAVE SPENT A LOT OF TIME SEARCHING THE WEB LOOKING AT WHAT MY TRUCK "CAN" LOOK LIKE. I WOULD LIKE SOME ADVISE ON WHERE TO START AND WHAT SHOULD I HAVE DONE AND WHAT SHOULD I BE ABLE TO DO ON MY OWN. ADDITIONALLY, I WILL BE WORKING ON A SOMEWHAT LIMITED BUDGET. ANY ADVISE WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO POST A COUPLE OF PICTURES OF THE TRUCK BUT CAN NOT FIGURE OUT HOW. IF YOU KNOW PLEASE TELL ME. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.

In terms of posting pictures, you can either get your own website, read how to attach pics in this forum
Though looking at the forum rules, left hand side under the "Rate this thread box" says I can't post attachments.
Cheers.

As a favor to the rest of us, could you not type in caps?
On the net it is considered shouting not to mention harder to read.
As for your truck. You can benefit greatly by starting with the mechanicals first. I say start with brakes, replace all rubber lines and service the pads, drums, cylinders, and hardware first.
Next, move on the the front end and service/replace the worn pparts. These two things will make the truck safer and easier to drive on a regular basis.
Engine and trans can be worked on as needed and do not create a safety issue as much as the previous two items.
