code issues
Some time ago it started to lose power and idle a little rough. In OD it would actually seem to mis.
It is throwing P-102, P-112 and P-113. The air temp and air flow sensors I think must be both on one sensor as there are no other wires or connectors on the air tube to the TB but one, it has 2 posts and under in the same connector has 4 posts.
Of the 2 the red wire has 12v, the black w/grey is grounded.
Of the 4 post side the grey w/red stripe is grounded and the grey has 4.75v.
I can not find any vac leaks anywhere.
Any help would be great!
Thanks in advance.
The codes P0112 and P0113 are both IAT codes and yes that sensor is part of the MAF on most
The P0102 code is the MAF itself
Used to see bad MAF sensor connectors cause multiple rechecks and intermittent problems
Used to see dirty hot wire sensors inside the MAF (you can clean that HOT wire) both of them
That 4.75 volts is your VREF voltage from the processor = good
The sig return is the wire you will be checking for voltage out of the MAF
Use a scan tool to read the maf pid is the way to do it these days
On some, the 2 wire connector is another sensor in the air tube (actual IAT)
Those get dirty and quit too
Tell me you are NOT running a K&N air filter that you have to oil
You HAVE cleaned the MAF already, right?
I sure would be checking the fuel trims too
Those 4.2's are notorious for intake gasket failure and the isolator bolts (the intake bolts with the rubber washers on them)
Check the fuel trims and the MAF pid
