So, ive got an 03 dually 4x4 that im replacing one of my front unit bearings on. Ive done one before, now the other ones grumbling. So, im trying to figure out what im looking at as far as parts. I used the same part number for the one that was supplied before, 3c3z1104ca (347$ online), oem part number and is still available. Timken has one that is 515025 (220+ 6 online) and i have to buy the studs and oring, no big deal. Lastly, i find hub11 (279 online) and says it cross references to the oem part number. I know the application is the same for all 3, but are these all the same part? Ive read that timken is oem and motorcraft adds the studs and oring to get their part. So what is hub 11? Says its the same as the oem on a few sites, is that the same as the 3c3z number? If anyone can help me out here id appreciate it.
The Motorcraft Hub11 looks like the right one for DRW applications. It has shorter lug studs to accommodate the extender. It's $289 on Rock Auto. If it were me, I'd probably go with that one. Motorcraft has a 2 yr unlimited mileage warranty. The Timken shows a 1 yr warranty.

Ya, rock auto is where i was looking. I just got off the phone with the local ford garage and the parts guy says its the same part for the 3c3z and the hub 11 part. He said most likely it will have both part numbers on the box and they refer to alot of these as just being the long or the short number, so, that answers that part of the question. The second part, ive read that the oe bearings are timkens, but the ford part sells them with the four studs and the oring. Those are on ra for 7$ bringing the total to 227$ vs 290$. The lady at timken said all their stock of those are domestic. I actually think im going to order the timken and save the 60$ difference.
