After reading several posts about how the keyless unlock/lock wasn’t working when touching the door handle, even though no one mentioned the “no key detected” issue, I tried the “disconnect the negative battery cable fir 10 minute” reset. Everything back to normal now. No trip to the dealer needed.
Heres one that made ME go huh? I did a remote start, walked up to the truck and the door handle did not unlock. Weird. It worked this morning, and the last time I did a remote start. I got to where I was going, shut down, and it would not lock by the handle. Came back later, door handle is working again. Wondering if it is tied to the remote start somehow.
Mine was just in the shop for NO Keyed Detected, they did a couple of software updates. TBS/SSM 52980 and a TCU software update.
So far so good, bring both keys as they will need to reprogram them.
Lately my truck has been showing the "no key detected" thing every now and then. But the truck starts up and drives normally so I've just ignored it.
The truck is going in for another issue in just over a week so I've emailed the dealer to look into this issue while it's there because the truck will be hooked up to IDS anyway. Thanks to this post I'll make sure to bring both fobs in with it.
I've had the issue with the doors not locking/unlocking on my 2022 F250........everything would work using the buttons on the fob. It happened again yesterday, and when I tried to start it I got the no key detected message. I changed the battery in my fob, and everything is good...........

Mine had the same symptoms as above and op. Took it to the dealer like described above the updates they did fixed it.
I had the exact same thing happen on my 2024 F250. I tried everything, still both fobs would not unlock/lock the doors at the handle and got the ol' "no key detected" on the dashboard. So, I took both battery negatives off, drank a beer, then another, then reattached and it worked like a charm. Both fobs were able to unlock/lock the doors at the handle. Saved me a trip to the dealer.
