Whole side not hitting

I have a code 1291 one injector on the left bank ohms out at 13.2 would that be the short to ground or positive it is talking about when I look up the code all others ohm out fine .

13.2 ohms would be closer to open than short in the context of an injector solenoid. How many miles on the injectors? Have the armature plates been shimmed in the past? Check the underside of the wiring harness that connects to the engine from the chassis. They are known to chafe on the valve cover.

One bank isn't firing?

I'd be looking for chaffing on wire harness at valve cover or the UVCH connector. Ohm out wiring from 42 pin to UVCH.

I’ve read on here that a short on 1 injector (or associated wiring) will shut down the IDM for the entire bank.

Just something to keep in mind as you work through this issue.

A P1291 is for a high side(hot) short to ground. Where are you testing from and what is connected or disconnected when you were testing? Does the code come back after it's cleared?
