Starting Problem And Dianostic Codes
I HAVE A 2002 fORD f-250 4X4 WITH THE 7.3 DIESEL. IT WILL NOT START, CRANKS BUT WILL NOT FIRE OFF. I EVEN PLUGGED IT IN ALL NIGHT AND STILL HAD THE SAME RESULT. HOW DO YOU READ OUT DIAGNOSTIC CODES ON IT? i HAVE WONDERED IF IT COULD BE THE CAM SENSOR OR LOW VOLTAGE SINCE THE BATTERIES ARE STILL ORIGINAL. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

This company can provide scanners and also supplies local parts centers, i.e. Checker, etc. for free.
I would start by replacing a cam sensor. If the truck is turning over, it apparently has enough battery amps to fire off.
Any problems should be covered under warranty if under 100K.
Buy the cam sensor from Ford, and if it works, they should reimburse you under warranty. If it doesn't, you need to keep a spare anyway.
