Mounting rear camera for dashcam
I have
for the rear camera. In my last truck I mounted it to the inside on the sliding glass. Two problems, the glass is too dark, and it didn't capture images clearly, focus issues. I now have the cable routed up to the 3rd brake light, and want to mount it on the top of the glass just under the 3rd light. Mounting is not the problem the 3rd light is. How can I get the cable through it without breaking the seal or causing leaks?

Same situation here, have not wired and mounted the rear dash camera, and am considering the alternatives.
I am looking at going through the bottom of the CHMSL, and siliconing it up to seal it where the cable would have to go through the gasket, but haven't looked closely at it yet.
