He's had two bypass surgeries, a hip replacement, new knees, fought prostate cancer and diabetes.
He's half blind, can't hear anything quieter than a jet engine, takes 40 different medications that
make him dizzy, winded, and subject to blackouts, has bouts with dementia, poor circulation;
hardly feels his hands and feet anymore.
Can't remember if he's 85 or 92, has lost all his friends, but thank God, still has his driver's license.

It rained most of the day today. The wife came home from grocery shopping, so he walks out in Tennies to help unload.
Three steps and wet both feet. Didn't realize all along the drive the water was standing camouflaged by the grass and leaves.
He didn't let it stop him, but soon changed socks and shoes.

How can he train the Dog to stop chasing cars driving past the place ? Ear plugs thas it ! Ah no, turn on the radio so he can't hear em coming on the front porch.
No, then he just goes to the front of the drive. Shock Collar if he leaves the yard ? Better ! Ya probably can't set a rusty 12 gauge at the mailbox.

Rifle deer Antlered Season starts today. One deer was in the Dumpster minus his antlers near 3:00PM.
Antlers and brain sawed off.

Paul is drafted into the Navy in 1951. He gets off the Buss and the Navy issues him a Comb saying keep in regulations.
That afternoon the barber cut off all his hair.

On Pauls second day in Basic training the Navy it issues him a new Toothbrush.
Later after drills the Dentist pulls his wisdom teeth.

Paul reports for duty the third morning and the Navy issues him a very tight fitting jock strap.

The Clear safety glasses just fell on the floor off the cap. I can guess I need to clean the lenses. It's late evening, the news and weather are doom and gloom again.
It appears to be about normal now with T-Day less than a week away. My bet is a nasty cold but not that much snow and ice for the rest of the year.
