22 450 door won't lock?

22 450 crew cab KR bone stock and the front passenger door won't lock. I noticed the kids trying to get in before I was there with the key was setting off the alarm. The door opens but the alarm would go off. I realized that it's because the door isn't locking. Door doesn't lock with fob, doesn't lock with lock/unlock button in truck and doesn't even lock when you try to physically push the post down. Has anyone ever experienced this and what could it be?

The only other oddity I observed lately is the return settings for the massage off and restoring seat settings screen keeps randomly popping up, no idea why...frustrating. I can't imagine these two things are related, just sharing what I'm experiencing.

Forgot to mention, truck has 44k on it. Not that it's ok to have issues like this at any mileage...

I haven't diagnosed mine yet. I just got a 2018 F250 super duty, and it has this exact problem. I'm hoping the dealer will still honor the recall, "FSA - 20M04 - Power Door Lock Actuator Failure," 10 years or 150k miles and mine is past 150k miles. If this gives you some ideas of where to start looking, that's great.

do you have a copy of the FSA you can post. I would imagine others may have the issue in the future.

Without knowing...replace the door side lock mechanism?

Wow, that's super helpful - thanks! Mine's well under 150k so figure they should be covering it. I'm going to call the dealer this morning.

I am really new and green and yada yada. I have the Carfax report which lists the active recall. I googled it and found https://www.fordraptorforum.com/thre...2/post-1646019 - is that what you mean?

I read it and it's "whichever occurs first" so I'll skip the stealership after all, they won't be honoring it on my truck due to my miles being over 150k.

But, big but, the description says it's only for the actuator, because of water or ice getting in and damaging it. The problem you're facing in this thread, and the one I'm facing too, is that all 4 doors don't have power locking anymore.

I see that now, wondering what the dealer will say. It's scheduled to go in Thursday.

Folks - I received a PM from a member "@Ford Motor Company" to send info on my issue and my truck. Can the community confirm that's the legit account for Ford? Just wanted to be sure as there's so much fraud, trolls, fake news, etc these days...
