On my 89 302 van, it's on the passenger side of the engine toward the front. It's bolted onto the throttle body downstream of the throttle valves, or to the manifold just past where the throttle body attaches, don't exactly remember. It has a metal tube from the exhaust attached to the bottom of it and a vacuum line on top. Hope this helps.

yes it is directly above the front of the passenger side exhaust manifold located on the intake right behind the throttle body. if you follow the pipe coming out of your passenger side exhaust manifold it will lead you right to it.
