Berrypatch ,I guess your truck is a 1973 .it should have a 330 with a 2 barrel.it has a gvw of 24,000lbs .it has a 5 speed direct drive ,either a Fuller T-905-B .or a Newprocess np-542-f.rear axle is a Eaton 16244-2 speed ,6.17/8.58 ratio.the front axle should be a 7,000lbs with PS.it should have a regular cab .sorry it is the best I can do .

 

How did you determine it's a '73? It is actually a '79.

Which 330 is it? It's not a 330. See below.

 

It’s a 79. Has a 370 2valve.

C = 370 2V "Lima" gas V8 (Same code used for 429 4V, check for an emissions sticker on the valve cover showing CID etc)

V = Kentucky Truck Plant

FE0198 = 1979 numerical series.

146 = 146 inch wheelbase

No color code. This is a special order truck and color might have been part of that.

F616 = F600 gas, 4x2, 24,000 lbs GVWR

8 = Regular cab, cab and chassis vehicle

O = New Process model NP542-FL five speed direct transmission. (Fuller model T905-B also shows for this code, but I think that's a bigger truck trans. You'll be able to tell as the Fuller should have a lable on it and the NP will have info cast into the case)

E2M (it is an "M", right?)
E2 = Eaton model 16244 two speed rear axle, 17,500 lbs capacity, 6.17 / 8.58 ratios
M = Ford 7,000 lb capacity front axle with power steering

24000 = 24,000 lbs GVWR
