I never heard of a heavy steering feel before and I've owned my '17 since new and I have 35" tires on it too. Perhaps you have low psi in the tires, a bearing or brake caliper that is dragging or even a stiff axle u-joint?
Has anyone come up with a fix for the heavy steering problem associated with the 2017 - 2019 Super Duties ? Search produced nothing.

Well never assume the obvious. I'm a mechanic working on stuff including my own for almost 50 years. No problems with stuff like under inflated tires, or a brake caliper dragging, bad axle joint, and nothing close to a death wobble. As a mechanic I feel these are obvious possible causes that have already been eliminated. All these things were not indicated. Maybe I've gotten some mis-information but have talked with numerous S.D. owners in this year range and a good handful of them agreed their trucks seemed to have more than normal heavy steering while going down the road. Maybe some trucks do and some don't, I'm not sure. If you don't have this issue then your not aware of it yet but it does seem to be an issue with some. This is why I'm asking. If anyone has had this issue and remedied it, please speak up. Thanks for the spit balling tho.
I have 11000 post on this forum and never heard of this....if this was a thing....it certainly would have crossed my screen.
Yeah it's a problem. I bought a new '17 and kept it a month and sold it. Steering was really heavy.. Adaptive steering system was the cause. I could unplug it and it steered easier.
Went and found a good used '16 and steering was way easier..
Kept it until they came out with the new steering in '20 and bought one. The electrohydraulic power steering works good.
I do have tendonitis in both elbows and am very sensitive to movement and how much force it takes.
Search my username and you will surely find a post where I bought the '17 and complained about it.
I have a 2017 F350 Lariat 4x4 CCSB with the Power Stroke. It does not steer as easy as our Subaru, but it is a truck that weighs twice as much.
I have a bad shoulder, a fused wrist, a wrist with a bone missing and a plate screwed in, plus 71 year old muscles. Not once have I ever had a problem steering this truck.
I did have a 1979 F150 without power steering, and that bad boy was a horse to steer.
