Define blown? Often the cause is just cheap rebuilds from the parts store. On the other hand the distinctive sound of the pump being stuck in bypass indicates a downstream issue. A failed hydroboost or steering gear is definitely possible.

i purchased the rebuilt from two different stores ,so i highly doubt they were both bad rebuilds. how can you test the hydroboost?
