Ford 9" - Minimum Torque Required to Tighten Pinion Nut to Obtain Correct Pinion Bearing Preload - 175 ft. lbs.
Dana 44 - 200-220 ft. lbs.
Dana 60-2 - 250-270 ft. lbs.

You will need a rotational torque wrench to measure the bearing preload. I didn’t realize that there was a minimum torque value. I have always tightened the pinion nut until there’s no more play in the yoke, and then snuck up on the bearing preload.
