Question torque specs'?

for my 2001 ford escape 4x4...i posted a few months ago and got a couple of responses....but nothing concrete.i need to know the torque spes' on the nut that holds the rear driveshaft yolk to the rear differential,or in my case, actually to the differential clutch assembly,or Rotary Blade Coupling...because it's a 4x4.I think the nut that holds the yolk is called the pinion nut,but i am not sure.I can't get a for sure on the torque on this nut....i have been told anywhere from 160ft/lbs to 200ft/lbs...does any body out there know for sure?thanks...Brent M

I seem to remember that post. I just checked my service manual and it gave a SPECIFIC torque: 180 FT/LBS. That falls in your range so I would use that.
