It have Warn premiums, and i was wondering what they are supposed to feel/sound like when you engage them. When i turn mine to the "free" position they kind of click into place and when it turn them to lock they dont make any kind of click and they seem like they should cause the part that turns sticks out a slight bit more. I was just wondering if they were broken? or if i didnt put them in correctly. Thanks
ya know, i put a set of those warn premium hubs on my 81 bronco to replace the superwinch units! and i was not impressed!I hate them!!! seems warn has gone CHEAP on us... i wish i had stayed with the (.25 turn) superwench...
Well, my premiums are odd. One makes the click when fully engaged, whereas the other engages, but doesnt seem to click. I didnt install mine, but I ran them last season, and didnt have any issues.
ya, mine were like that, but i had forgoten to install the snap ring on the driver's side (the side that "locked" in the lock position) but today i put the ring on and neither of them clicks in the lock position.
I have had a couple of problems with mine, but when they did break I just took them down to 4 wheel parts (where I bought them) and they gave mee new ones... no questions asked.
