I'll be driving 6 hours today to pick up a slide in weighing approximately 2100lbs and wondering if I should set all 4 tires to the max 80psi before I leave or just set the rears to max? I keep fronts at 70psi and rears at 65psi when unloaded and when I haul pallets of flooring around weighing 1600-1800lbs I set the rears to 70psi(cold of course) and that seems to work just fine so curious what you fellas would do? Driving 6 hours unloaded with rears set to 80psi will make for a bumpy ride, but if that's what's best that is what I'll do.
I run 55 all around when empty, and 80-rear 60-front when the camper is on. I would just air up before you leave. One bouncy leg of the trip isn't going to kill you.
You must have some smooth a$$ roads where you live then lol.
oh it rides horribly since I'm aired up and I have the lower Torklift stable loads engaged. But most of the time the camper is loaded and or a trailer is in tow. I definitely like riding in a "truck"
