I haven't looked at my decal yet - heck I don't even know what brand tires came on the truck Be a good thing to look at tomorrow.
If they are Goodyears there is a pressure/load/speed chart on Goodyears website.
You don't have to keep thier tires at max pressure if not at max load.

My goal is to air down as much as needed to get even wear empty accross the board.
Just looking what others have discovered works best.
On my 2005 6.0 DRW I noticed that my inside tires were wearing more than the outside tires so I started asking questions why,,, I was told to run the inside tires five pounds less than the outside tires.. Bought six new Mechlins and tryied it, the tire wear was the same on all four tires...???? Maybe its because of the crown on the road???? Beats me, but it seemed to work...
Yeah the door says higher, but many poeple on here have reported only 45 psi from factory when they checked it (haven't checked mine yet). Makes me wonder if Ford puporsely puts them light for a better ride on a test drive?
All 6 of mine where in the 40-45 range from the dealer. Aired up to 75 up front, 70 in the rears. Still rides good and increased mileage by 1 to 1.5 mpg.

Fyi
Door Panel lists
75/60 (Front / Rear) as the loaded pressures.
Might check the tire centers for wear later..

Tires are rated for 80. The truck listing is generic as they run several different manufactures of tires. Nonetheless, I'm watching the wear on all of them.
i had a problem with the front tires wearing bad on out sides so i checked em and they was at like 55 so i put 80 in em leave it there cause never no when ill be hauling something and aint got time to air em up everytime rides like a bumpy roll coster but its a cab and chassis
